YOU ARE WORTHY !!

All Healing is Release from the Past 

- A Course in Miracles

Making your dreams come true sounds about as easy as baking cookies.  When you read about the art of manifesting what you need in life, increasing your vibrancy, reaching for and receiving the vitality and other things in your life that you so dearly need and want, it all sounds so easy.  And, it is, if there's nothing holding you back, sabotaging the believing part.

You think, for example, "Ok, I'm going to draw a mental picture of a new car."  Then think about what you need - because the old one is falling apart and in the shop more than it's not - and soon you can really "see" it in your mind.  You feel a bit excited because it's just what you want. Maybe you've been kind of looking around already for a new / used car.  Then you thank God for this wonderful spiritual gift that you never knew you had and thank Him for the car, in advance.  Or, another example, let's say you are sick - perhaps a cold has gotten into your lungs (since I just had this) - and you visualize that inflammed lung drying out and the fluid receding.  You send love to the lung, and thank God for the healing that is going to occur. 

Great.  That's done.  Now, you wait. Right?  It sounds so easy.  And, sometimes it is easy.  Sometimes healing comes very quickly.  All of life can be like this. 

We are not designed to live sickly, tiny, powerless lives, steeped in poverty, lacking vision and joy, beating up ourselves and calling ourselves sinners, insisting to ourselves that we are not worthy of receiving the abundance God has for us.  

I think the biggest thank you we can give God is to open our minds, hearts and hands believing in His great providence and trusting in the way the universe works. If He made all this to work as it does, it only makes sense that He would want us to do this.  He wants us healthy, joyful and living lives of peace and love, powerfully creating lasting and pervading peace, love and joy on the Earth and teaching others to do this also.  I honestly believe this may be the best way to heal our planet of its many ills.

I think it's a little like driving a standard.  You push down on the accelerator and let up on the clutch in a kind of tandem action.  

You push down on the faith pedal, accelerate it as you send out your earnest, heartfelt dream, encapsulated in picture form, out on the universal web (field, matrix), as you let up on your pedal of past doubts, negative experiences in life, a sense of unworthiness, all failed efforts because you didn't believe that God loved you enough, that you were not worthy of receiving.  

I think of manifesting as a two-part believing and sending motion, such as one of "release and send, release and send."  Release your past, your fear, your wrong sense of unworthiness, and then Send your picture, believing it will be fulfilled. Then, you thank God with all your heart and being for this great gift. Your picture will come back fulfilled when it's done making. 

If you feel trapped in a situation, an unrelenting problem, and you wonder if this would work or think it couldn't work because .... You have became your own jailer, sabotaged yourself by thinking you were unworthy. You believed those in your past who taught you by their cruetly to you that you were unworthy of love.  You didn't believe you deserved candy in your Christmas stocking, believing you deserved only coal.  And, you got it - either the coal or the candy.  So, now, you want life and you want it abundantly. It's like asking yourself for the very first time in your life, "What do you want? What do you want to experience in your life?"  Don't rush.  That could take a few minutes to answer.

And, while you're doing a little dream composing there, there's a little secret I learned that I'll share with you.  YOU ARE WORTHY!!!  Now, go write that 100 times on the blackboard of your heart and mind.  YOU ARE WORTHY!!  You are worthy BECAUSE you are a human being, created by the Great Creator to be a great creator and this is your destiny and your birthright. 

It's not just for those special people who got better grades in school, or who are a bit more politically savy and get the better jobs.  YOU ARE WORTHY !!  JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE A HUMAN BEING.  You don't have to subscribe to the right clubs, go to the right schools, believe in the right religion.   

As you dream with all your mental skills to paint that picture in your mind, remember, you're not so special that you're not worthy.  You are worthy. We're all in this game together.  We all came to this party, and so we are all worthy and we all can do this. 

You can have the life you dream of  - healing your body, helping your neighbor get a job, cleaning up the neighborhood, or healing the inner city's drug problems, keeping the kids safe and healthy - whatever it is.  Believe in the healing that you're seeking - and it is healing because you would be able to say to a mountain to be moved and it would move, if you believed enough - so, you need to heal your past, your self doubt, you sense of unworthiness, heal yourself of any sabotaging beliefs that disempower and block your budding belief.  

Consider for a moment what is holding you back?  It is usually negative beliefs, stemming from your past - and every single one of us has this - it's just usually custom-designed for us.  My past fits my soul's growth pattern as your's fits yours.  So, we all have our own stuff to heal from.  

So, I guess, if we are finding that our dreams are not coming as we thought they would, we might add to the visualization another one, a kind of caveat request that we would become increasingly free from the internalized negative messages that we learned as young children that inhibit our progress.  We could start there.  It is like St. Paul's message that we can pray for an increased ability to pray.  What a concept!  See, again, it's all win-win.

So, now, do it.  Pedal to the medal and take those wild bends around the mountain and see the ocean breaking againt the shore.  At first, you don't see the view because you're keeping your eyes on the road.  But, soon, you'll fly around those bends, almost catching the surf in your breath, sun streaming through the sunroof, and in moments, just moments, you're soaring.  You never knew life could be so good.  Ahhhh ...... but it is.  And, this is just the beginning.
